Justin Cadman has carved out a distinguished 15+-year career in the satellite & space sector, leading nearly 50 financing and M&A transactions within the ecosystem. An early advocate in recognizing the transformative potential of disruptive space technologies, Cadman spearheaded the groundbreaking “NewSpace Investor Conference,” an event series held from 2013 to 2017 that focused on venture-stage investments in the space industry, marking a significant first in the sector.
Equipped with over two decades of investment banking and capital markets expertise, Cadman now heads the investment banking and strategy initiatives at Quilty Space. In this capacity, he draws upon his industry insights and an extensive network of top-level executive contacts to drive forward the firm’s mission of “Fueling the Space Economy.” Before his tenure at Quilty, Cadman spent 12 years at Raymond James’ investment banking division, where he was instrumental in executing a wide range of public underwritings, private capital raisings, and M&A transactions across the tech and communications landscape. His efforts were crucial in establishing Raymond James’ satellite-focused investment banking practice more than 10 years ago.
In 2018, Cadman embarked on a strategic partnership with satellite and space analyst Chris Quilty to enhance Quilty Space’s offerings. Together, they have elevated the platform to become an unmatched global leader in research, consulting, and strategic and financial advisory for the entire satellite and space industry.
Cadman earned a B.S. in Finance from the University of Florida.
