Michelle Thissell is a Relationship Manager with the Aerospace, Defense & Technology (ADT) Group for Global Commercial Banking. She is responsible for maintaining a portfolio of clients with a strong focus on the defense, engineering and space sectors. Her efforts revolve around helping middle market companies achieve their overall strategic objectives by advising and executing on various capital raising approaches, M&A initiatives, treasury management solutions, and risk management strategies.
She currently manages a portfolio of existing client relationships who have between $50MM to $2B in annual revenues. This includes providing the full scope of banking services –Investment Banking, Credit, global treasury management, Equipment financing, and Employee wealth management and benefit solutions.
Prior to joining the AD&T team, Michelle specialized in treasury management and international banking solutions. She assisted clients in the Business Banking and Middle Market segment and has continuously worked with companies in the GovCon industry throughout her time in the DC metro region. Michelle has worked at other financial institutions in New York specializing in cash management, stock transfer and escrow services.
Michelle earned a BBA degree in Finance from Pace University and an MBA in International Finance from Fordham University. Currently, she is attending Boston University Metropolitan College and is enrolled in their Corporate Finance certification program. She maintains Series 7 and 63 securities licenses in addition to maintaining the Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) designation. Michelle is a Board member of the Greater Washington Association of Financial Professionals (GWAFP).
