General Manager, Autonomous Intelligence Solutions
Stacey Casella is a General Manager for the Autonomous Intelligence Solutions business area within the Space Systems sector of the Space and Airborne Systems segment of L3Harris Technologies. In this role, Casella is responsible for the program execution, business and investment strategy, customer relationships and future business opportunities within government, civil and commercial markets, for advanced analytics and autonomous intelligence applications.
Space and Airborne Systems covers an extensive portfolio of solutions in intelligence, surveillance, small satellites, electronic warfare, networks, information management, avionics (including carriage and release systems), wireless solutions and C4I systems.
Casella started her career with L3Harris in 2008 as an imaging scientist working in Space and Intelligence Systems. She designed, implemented and tested algorithms to enable data exploitation for
customers including DigitalGlobe, NGA and our experimental and proprietary customers. She expanded her responsibilities as a supervisor, overseeing image science and software engineering employees, and later held multiple program manager positions where she led the development of innovative solutions for our government customers within the geospatial business.
Casella later transitioned to the Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance Business unit, as the strategy and portfolio manager, where she was responsible for leading the business unit growth strategy and investment priorities.
Currently, Casella serves on the advisory board for Ontario County ARC and is a member of the United Way Women’s Leadership Council and Golisano Children’s Hospital Sandy’s Friends Organization. In 2016, she was awarded Rochester Business Journal’s “Forty Under 40” Award.
Casella holds a bachelor’s degree in Mathematics from Ithaca College and a Master of Science in Color Science from the Rochester Institute of Technology.
