Mr. Thomas Ainsworth is Chief Architect, Futures, for the United States Space Force (USSF), whose mission is to secure the United States’ interests in, from, and to space.  Mr. Ainsworth brings years of Government and industry experience developing systems supporting critical United States Government missions, including Intelligence, Surveillance, & Reconnaissance, Space Control, Missile Defense, Early Warning, and Satellite Communications.  Prior to joining the USSF, Mr. Ainsworth was the Director of Space and Counterspace programs for the Strategic Capabilities Office (SCO).  Before SCO, he supported the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA), the National Reconnaissance Office (NRO), National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA), and other Department of Defense (DoD) offices.  Mr. Ainsworth began his space career with Northrop Grumman where he helped design and build satellite systems for the DoD as well as other civil and national customers. He earned a Master of Science in Computer Engineering from the University of Southern California and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering from the University of Notre Dame.
