Brig. Gen. Denaro is the Commander at United States Space Forces Indo-Pacific, Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam, Hawaii, where he oversees the planning and execution of integrated and synchronized joint, allied and partner space operations to protect and defend U.S. interests in the Indo-Pacific region.

Brig. Gen. Denaro received his commission from the U.S. Air Force Academy in 2000 with a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering. He has served in various positions within defense acquisition, intelligence and international affairs. His notable staff tours include Headquarters Pacific Air Forces, U.S. Pacific Command and Office of the Under Secretary of Defense for Intelligence. Brig. Gen. Denaro served as Commander of the Aircraft Analysis Squadron at the National Air and Space Intelligence Center and Division Chief of the Strategic Systems Division at Space Systems Command. Brig. Gen. Denaro was the Program Executive Officer for Space Sensing responsible for a $23 billion portfolio of persistent space sensing capabilities.

Prior to his current assignment, Brig. Gen. Denaro was the Director, Plans and Programs, Office of the Chief Strategy and Resource Officer, Headquarters Space Force, the Pentagon, Arlington, Virginia. In this capacity, he was responsible for executing U.S. Space Force programs across the Future Years Defense Plan and the Program Objective Memorandum.
