SPACE SYMPOSIUM AGENDA
Salon Breakfast: Voyager Technologies
The Future of Commercial Operations – Scaling the Orbital Economy
As civil, commercial and national security priorities converge in low-Earth orbit, the next chapter of space activity will be defined by sustained operations, scalable infrastructure and economic durability.
The keynote and panel bring together Matt Kuta, president of Voyager Technologies, Matt Magaña, President of Space, Defense & National Security at Voyager Technologies; Marshall Smith, CEO of Starlab; and representatives from the U.S. Space Force and NASA to explore how government and industry are building a resilient, commercially driven orbital economy.
Discussion will focus on government-led programs and commercially enabled platforms, the role of next-generation space stations in ensuring continuity beyond ISS, and how integrated capabilities — from mission management to advanced manufacturing and national security systems — are accelerating operational scale in orbit.
Panelists will explore how continued collaboration across government and industry can help ensure seamless capability transitions while expanding economic opportunity in orbit, and what it may take to move from demonstration to durable presence.
