Capt Andrew Baac is currently assigned as a Combat Crew Commander (CCC) at 3rd Space Operations Squadron (SOPS), Delta 9, Schriever Space Force Base, Colorado. He is responsible for the safety and security of personnel within the 3 SOPS secure facility and is the 3 SOPS Commander’s representative therein.

Capt Baac was born in Dallas, Texas and grew up as an Army dependent to Retired Sergeant First Class Ok Sun Baac. He entered the United States Space Force in 2020 after graduating from the University of California, San Diego and receiving his commission through the Air Force ROTC program. Capt Baac completed Prior to his role at 3 SOPS, Capt Baac was the Chief of Weapons and Tactics at the 10th Space Warning Squadron (SWS), Cavalier Space Force Station, North Dakota.
