Indutara Space LLC

Mr. Chirag Parikh is the Founder and President of Indutara Space LLC, a global space consultancy bridging commercial, national security, and civil space across the United States and the world. He serves on a number of boards as well as a Non-Resident Senior Adviser for the Center for Strategic & International Studies (CSIS).

He served as the Deputy Assistant to the President and Executive Secretary of the National Space Council from 2021-2025. As Executive Secretary, he advised the President and the Vice President of the United States on developing, implementing, and resourcing national policies and strategies across the civil, commercial, and national security sectors. He was responsible for cross-sectoral solutions across U.S. departments and agencies, Congress, industry, international allies, and academia partners.

Prior to the National Space Council, he led the creation of a company-wide business unit at Microsoft, known as Azure Space, to bring together global cloud computing and artificial intelligence capabilities into the evolving space sector. Prior to Microsoft, he served in several Senior Executive roles at the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA), leading collection operations of satellites to imagery analysis using a diversity of global space-based sensors. From 2010-2016, he served as the Director of Space Policy on the White House National Security Council overseeing U.S. national security space efforts. He has also served as the Deputy National Intelligence Officer for Science and Technology at the Office of the Director of National Intelligence and as an aerospace engineer at the National Air and Space Intelligence Center. He holds a B.S. in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Cincinnati.
