Maj. Gen. Anthony Mastalir, USSF

Director, Global Space Operations
U.S. Space Command

Maj. Gen. Anthony J. Mastalir is the Director, Global Space Operations (J3), Headquarters United States Space Command, Peterson Space Force Base, Colorado. He is responsible for executing full-spectrum joint space operations with assigned and allocated space forces.

Maj. Gen. Mastalir earned his commission as a distinguished graduate of the Northwestern University Air Force Reserve Officer Training Corps. He is a credentialed Guardian having completed a series of operational, staff and command assignments in space lift and range operations, orbital warfare, space electronic warfare, space policy, space security and defense and legislative affairs. He has commanded at the Air Force squadron, group and wing level as well as the Space Force delta and component field command level, including the Space Innovation and Development Center, 50th Space Wing, 30th Space Wing and Space Launch Delta 30. He has deployed in support of Operations Inherent Resolve, Freedom’s Sentinel, Spartan Shield and Allies Refuge. Prior to his current assignment he served as the Commander, United States Space Force Indo-Pacific, Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam, Hawaii.
