Nick Sinai is a Managing Director at Insight Partners, a global investor partnering with high-growth companies. Insight’s mission is to find, fund, and work successfully with visionary executives, providing them with hands-on software expertise along their growth journey. Nick invests in national security and dual-use companies, works with Insight portfolio companies entering and growing in the public sector, and runs Insight’s Government Advisory Board. Nick serves as a board director or observer of HawkEye360, LeoLabs, Shift5, Govly, and OneBrief.

Nick served as U.S. Deputy Chief Technology Officer in the Obama White House, and prior, played a key role in crafting the National Broadband Plan at the FCC. Recently, Nick co-founded the U.S. Digital Corps, a new two-year federal fellowship for early-career technologists, launched in the summer of 2021. Nick is an Executive Fellow at Harvard Business School and has served as an adjunct Faculty Member at Harvard Kennedy School and as a Senior Fellow at the Belfer Center for Science and International Affairs. He also served as commissioner on the Atlantic Council’s Defense Innovation Adoption Commission. Nick is the co-author of Hack Your Bureaucracy: Get Things Done No Matter What Your Role On Any Team, published by Hachette in 2022.
