Nikolai Khlystov is an expert in the space economy, innovation, and sustainability, advising governments, investors, and industry leaders on the strategic adoption of space technologies, translating space capabilities into economic value through communication, implementation, and investment strategies.

He previously served as Thematic Lead for Space at the World Economic Forum, where he led and shaped the organization’s global agenda on the space economy, sustainability, and inclusive growth.

Nikolai has contributed to international efforts including the Hague International Space Resources Governance Working Group and the International Academy of Astronautics (IAA) Committee on Space Traffic Management. He is a frequent speaker on the space economy and a guest lecturer at the University of Geneva (HEC).
