Nick Archer is an Oklahoma State Representative serving House District 55 and Chair of the House Energy and Natural Resources Committee, and Vice Chair of the House Majority Caucus. A fifth-generation Oklahoman, rancher, and former mayor of Elk City, Archer brings private-sector energy experience and executive leadership to public service.
He is a leading voice behind Oklahoma’s Space Renaissance strategy, championing the expansion of the Oklahoma Air and Space Port at Burns Flat and advancing policies to position Oklahoma as a national hub for suborbital research, advanced materials, propulsion testing, and microgravity innovation. His legislative efforts focus on aligning energy, aerospace, and advanced manufacturing to secure long-term economic growth and national competitiveness.
Archer holds a degree in architecture from the University of Oklahoma and lives in Elk City with his wife and two children.
