Steve Arnold is the Deputy Executive for Space Formulation at The Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory (JHU/APL).  In this role, he oversees program formulation of new space science missions for NASA, NOAA, and cross-cutting to the DOD.  In recent years, this includes missions like DART, Parker Solar Probe, New Horizons as well as the upcoming Dragonfly science mission that will land and fly a “car-sized” rotorcraft on the surface of Saturn’s moon Titan.  In addition, Steve helps define the strategic pursuits for APL’s space science program, including external engagements with Government, Industry, and International partners.

Steve joined APL in 2010 after holding senior positions at Boeing, Lockheed-Martin, and DirecTV.
