Elisabeth Pinsonneault serves as Senior Legal Counsel at Sierra Space, a role she has held since 2022. In this capacity, she plays a critical role in shaping the company’s legal and regulatory strategy, with a particular focus on the rapidly evolving landscape of space law. Elisabeth advises senior leadership on complex legal frameworks governing commercial space activities, helping to position Sierra Space at the forefront of innovation while ensuring compliance with domestic and international regulations.

Her work spans a broad range of legal disciplines, including government contracts, trade controls, and commercial negotiations. Drawing on more than a decade of experience, Elisabeth is known for her ability to translate intricate regulatory requirements into practical business solutions that enable growth while mitigating risk. She partners closely with cross-functional teams to support strategic initiatives, ensuring that legal considerations are seamlessly integrated into operational decision-making.

Prior to joining Sierra Space, Elisabeth held key legal roles at United Launch Alliance, where she served as Supply Chain Counsel and Associate General Counsel, advising on procurement strategy and compliance matters. She began her legal career at Steptoe in Washington, D.C., focusing on anti-corruption and international trade compliance, before relocating to Denver to join Dentons’ Government Contracts practice.

Elisabeth earned her Juris Doctor from Columbia University and holds a Bachelor’s degree from Dartmouth College.
