Kate van Dam

Kate van Dam is SkyFi’s Head of Government, where she leads the federal and international government portfolio, advancing initiatives that turn geospatial data into mission-ready intelligence for decision-makers worldwide.

Kate began her career in the Marine Corps. An AH-1 Cobra helicopter pilot by trade, Kate saw combat in Afghanistan and supported counter-piracy operations in the Gulf of Aden. Prior to joining SkyFi, Kate led NRO and FBI Mission Partnerships at InQTel, bridging cutting-edge startups with US government security priorities. She also served as a White House Fellow supporting executive-level disaster response.

Kate is a graduate of the US Naval Academy with an MA from Johns Hopkins SAIS. Her expertise in geospatial intelligence and national security has been featured in various media outlets and publications.
