Kelly Garehime is Sierra Space’s VP, General Counsel, Chief Ethics Officer, and Corporate Secretary, heading all of the company’s global legal affairs.
Ms. Garehime is a vastly experienced leader with more than a decade in aerospace and seven years in private practice. He r focus at Sierra Space, in addition to leading the company’s in-house legal team, is on providing Board and Executive level counseling related to government and commercial contracting with a focus on strategy, intellectual property, corporate governance, contract, supply chain, litigation, ethics, global trade and security matters. She manages an impressive portfolio with Sierra Space’s civil, commercial, and national security customers, including NASA and the U.S. Space Force, with a backlog of more than $1.5 billion in contracts.
Prior to joining Sierra Space in the summer of 2021, Ms. Garehime was Associate General Counsel and Corporate Secretary for United Launch Alliance (ULA) where she played a key role in negotiation of launch contracts for private and governmental entities and leading business transformation into commercial markets. Ms. Garehime was also part of the team that was awarded the primary position for the U.S. Space Force Phase 2 launch vehicle contract. Previously, Ms. Garehime was a Senior Managing Associate, specializing in government contracts, for the world’s largest law firm, Dentons.
Ms. Garehime holds a Doctor of Law (J.D.) from the University of Denver, Strum College of Law and a BSBA in Finance, from the University of Denver.
