Concurring Session

Both legacy and new space companies have their benefits and challenges. Legacy companies have decades of flight heritage and a risk averse approach to technology development, whereas new space companies bring agility with a rapid, iterative approach. When you combine the best of both worlds, real innovation can unfold. Leaders from Northrop Grumman and Firefly Aerospace will come together to discuss their first-of-its-kind collaboration to develop a new medium launch vehicle taking flight in 2025. The fireside chat will cover the progress to date and the opportunity to fill a void in the underserved medium-lift launch market.
