36th Space Symposium - August 2021

Statement on the Rescheduling of the 36th Space Symposium to August 2021

Space Foundation will reconvene the world’s space community next year at The Broadmoor in Colorado Springs, CO, August 22-26, 2021, for the 36th Space Symposium.

While we will not gather in-person this year, Space Foundation’s mission, dedication and stewardship to the space community continue more fervently than ever before. In fact, there is no better time than now to share the amazing space story that is unfolding worldwide.

In the coming weeks, Space Foundation will be sharing details on a new initiative called, Space Symposium 365. This effort is specifically designed to extend the spirit and reach of the annual global gathering of the space community in Colorado Springs but to do so in a year-round digital and engageable format.

Space Symposium 365 will include a number of the signature components everyone expects from the Space Symposium, along with other enriched programming that will include presentations by top global space leaders, executive panels, world class awards, New Generation Space Leaders activities, and other engaging multimedia components.

Space Symposium 365 will begin this coming October and include premium content for registrants to access. Registration details will be announced shortly and if interested in learning more, please click here.

It has always been the hallmark of Space Foundation to convene the global space community for the inspiring dialogues and engagements that spur partnerships and opportunities. Those aspirations will never change but as we all adapt and move forward in this challenging environment, Space Foundation will continue to build upon and share the spirit, connectivity and energy and unique content of the Space Symposium with an even wider audience…now extended into an accessible, digital, and interactive environment.

Current registrants for the 36th Space Symposium have three options to consider with their existing registration:

  1. Donating their registration to Space Foundation, a 501c3 non-profit organization in support of its education mission and receiving a tax receipt/deduction;
  2. Rolling their registration to the rescheduled 36th Space Symposium (August 22-26, 2021) and securing their spot at a reduced registration rate; or,
  3. Requesting a refund, minus a $150 processing fee.
