Science Educator

Bev Berekian is a middle school science teacher and Community College Instructor with a master’s degree in Geological Science. Along with her 17 years of teaching experience, Bev is a Space Foundation International Teacher Liaison, NASA SOFIA Ambassador, NASA/JPL Solar System Ambassador, and a Space Center Houston Teacher Crew Member. Bev is an alumni of NASA’s Wisconsin SGC Zero-G Embedded Teacher Program in partnership with Space for Teachers and is a DoD STEM Ambassador. Bev is also a U.S. Ambassador for One Giant Leap Australia and has recently been inducted as a Limitless Space Institute Teacher. Bev has made it a priority to bring STEM to all students, and believes in equity and access for all marginalized groups.
