Colonel Erik S. Stockham is the Director of Space Warfighting Acquisition Delta, Space Domain Awareness and Combat Power, Space Systems Command, Los Angeles Air Force Base, California. He leads a 72-person government and 950-person industry team of acquisition, engineering, operations, intelligence, and security specialists executing a multi-billion dollar budget. The Space Warfighting Acquisition Delta plans, develops, tests, deploys, and sustains Presidential priority classified programs that provide the nation with critical space warfighting capability.

Colonel Stockham was commissioned in 2003 as a distinguished graduate of the Air Force Reserve Officer Training Corps at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He has served in positions spanning engineering, acquisition, and intelligence functions at national, theater, and unit levels, including information warfare test analyst, targets intelligence officer, science and technology intelligence analyst, counter-improved explosive device forensics team leader, space vehicle systems engineer, program manager, and program element monitor. Colonel Stockham commanded at the squadron level, leading the Air Force Research Laboratory space domain awareness research and operations missions on Maui Island, Hawaii. He was an Air Force Strategic Policy Fellow and holds four graduate degrees, most recently from the National War College.

During his service in the United States Air Force, Colonel Stockham deployed to support Operations JOINT GUARDIAN and IRAQI FREEDOM. Prior to his current assignment, he was the Military Advisor to the Director, Office of the Director, Net Assessment, Office of the Secretary of Defense at the Pentagon.
