Dual career professional also serving as Commanding Officer of the Navy Reserve Cyber Protection Team, Suffolk unit. Lifelong leader and motivator of people to accomplish critical challenges. Experienced technology development professional and cyber systems engineer/program manager with specific expertise in cyber operations, intelligence community, information technology/hardware, space operations, critical infrastructure protection, cyber physical systems, information operations, cyber systems engineering/analysis/policy, electro-mechanical equipment development, and naval systems integration (surface and sub-surface). Over 12 years’ experience as a cyber systems engineering researcher/strategist and supervisor/program manager at JHU/APL and as a Cryptologic Warfare Officer (CWO) and Maritime Cyber Warfare Officer (MCWO) in the U.S. Navy Reserve.  Seven additional years of active-duty military experience as a Naval Reactors Engineer and as a CWO. A member of the Navy Space Cadre with space operations experience. Strategic leader serving operational missions within the intelligence community. Additional skills in national security strategy development/policy, research/technical leadership, and applied scientific strategy. Specific experience in information operations/defense, cyber physical system security, national security space operations, offensive/defensive cyber operations, electronic warfare, and signals intelligence. Accomplished people leader, both of professionals and military service members.  Education: B.S. in Electrical Engineering with a Minor in Leadership, Virginia Tech. Master in Engineering Management, Old Dominion University, Master’s Equivalency Certification in Naval Nuclear Engineering from the Bettis Reactor Engineering School, and a Masters of Arts in Defense and Strategic Studies from the U.S. Naval War College.
