Emily Calvanese has been with Moog Space Division’s Structures & Motion Control Business Unit since 1998. Moog’s S&MC unit specializes in providing industry leading vibration mitigation (SoftRide isolation), precision motion control, and launch adapters (ESPA). With 20+ flight programs under her belt as an engineer, Emily moved to S&MC Analysis Group Lead and then to Passive Systems Engineering Lead. Emily has served as the Site Manager for Moog’s Mountain View Facility since 2016, and also as the S&MC Business Unit General Manager since 2021.
Emily is very proud to be a part of putting Moog’s corporate values into practice, both as a member of Moog’s global Corporate Social and Environmental Responsibility (CSER) council and as the Executive Sponsor for Moog’s LGBTQIA+ Employee Resource Group (Pride@Moog).
Emily is a graduate of University of California, Davis, where she earned her BS in Aeronautical and Mechanical Engineering, and San Jose State University, where she received her MS in Aerospace Engineering.
