Kristi Farley is the Vice President of the Globally Responsive Space mission segment within National Security Space (NSS) at Lockheed Martin. In this position, Kristi focuses on executing tactical end-to-end missions that deliver real-time actionable data directly to warfighters and in-theater combatant commanders. Additionally, her mission segment’s focus is supporting the U.S.’ critical infrastructure, while increasing autonomous capabilities to deliver desirable outcomes in conflicts while relying on critical signals and data sets.

Kristi most recently served as the Vice President of Enterprise Performance at Lockheed Martin Space, where she was responsible for driving innovation and program execution across the enterprise, shaping future management practices and growing the vision, priorities and strategy across the organization.

She holds a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering from the University of Colorado and two master’s degrees – one in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Denver and the other in Computer Science from Colorado State University. Among the various leadership roles Kristi has held during her 29-year career at Lockheed Martin, she was the Space & Missile Engineering vice president, responsible for 5,000 hardware and systems engineers. She was also the Software Factory senior director driving process transformation and common software products for a workforce of 3,400 software engineers. She is passionate about transformation, including leading the future culture transformation at LM Space. 

Outside of her work at Lockheed Martin, Kristi serves on the Walter Scott College of Engineering Dean’s Advisory board for Colorado State University and is the Vice Chair for the Rocky Mountain Section of AIAA. She also serves as Secretary on the Grand Lake Estates Homeowners Association in Grand Lake, Colorado.
