Maj. Gen. Éric Cézzane Cólen Guedes

Maj Gen Cólen was born in Rio de Janeiro. He graduated from the Brazilian Air Force Academy in 1994 and was promoted to Major General on 31 July 2022. At the beginning of his career, he achieved full capability in SAR/CSAR Pilot Instructor. After that, he post graduated in Electronic Warfare and acquired Master of Science in Operational Research.
He has served as Deputy of Electronic Warfare Center; Chief of Operations at 2º/10º Combat Search and Rescue Squadron; Brazilian Liaison Officer at 12AF/AFSOUTH; Chief of Space Directorate – Brazilian Air Force Air Staff; and Natal Air Force Base Commander.
Currently serving as Chief of Space Operations Center, Major General Cólen is responsible for conducting the activities of Brazilian Space Operations Center, alongside Navy and Army personnel, with the objective of Control and Employ Space Systems to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of the Armed Forces and other organizations of the Brazilian governmental structure.
