McKenna McMurray attends Harvey Mudd College and is majoring in General Engineering. She holds several leadership positions on campus, such as Class President on the Harvey Mudd College Senate Board, President of the Harvey Mudd College chapter of the National Society of Black Engineers, and is a member of the Society of Women Engineers.

McKenna has industry experience as a Systems Engineer for Lockheed Martin Space where she works in Internal Research and Development, and has worked on projects within Lockheed Martin’s Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning Center. Looking towards the future, she will begin assisting in research regarding hypersonics with the MIT Hypersonics Research Lab. 

McKenna’s main passion lies in developing solutions for systems with capabilities that center on furthering space exploration.
