Nick Burton joined Lockheed Martin in 2021 and has since built a strong record of performance, providing valuable system engineering and program management support for multiple National Security Space (NSS) intelligence community programs. Before joining Lockheed Martin, Nick held positions in systems engineering and test at Raytheon and Orbit Logic, where he offered leadership support for various GEOINT systems. Additionally, he honorably served in the United States Air Force (USAF), where he specialized in the maintenance of air-launched cruise missiles.

Nick is deeply committed to his veteran community, having volunteered 466 hours as a Ceremonial Guardsman with the Barksdale Honor Guard. As the lead trainer, his team performed duties at military funerals and ceremonies. Together, they provided final military honors to 529 veterans.

Nick holds both a Bachelor’s and a Master’s of Science in Electrical Engineering with a focus on electromagnetics from the University of Colorado. Currently, he is pursuing a Ph.D. with a focus on systems engineering and program management at Colorado State University.
