Kohei Okamura serves as the Senior Manager of Space and Defense at Mitsubishi Corporation (Americas), where he spearheads business development within the space industry. His expertise encompasses commercial Low Earth Orbit destinations and in-orbit services. He has recently directed a strategic initiative to establish a joint venture partnership with Voyager Space and Airbus regarding Starlab Space LLC, a US-led transatlantic joint venture that is designing, building, and will operate the Starlab commercial space station.
He holds an MBA from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. He is also a graduate of the University of Tokyo, holding both a Bachelor’s and a Master’s degree in Materials Engineering.
