Matthew established the legal department of True Anomaly at its inception, and he is the General Counsel across all areas of law for the company. He leads an innovative, responsive, and integrated team focused on minimizing risk, fostering breakthrough national and international space law and policy, ensuring compliance, and building a foundation for scaled growth.

Previously, Matthew was Associate General Counsel for Operations at Lockheed Martin Space. He was in private practice with two national law firms and in government practice with the U.S. Department of Labor for over a decade. Matthew started his legal career as an appellate law clerk for Chief Justice Mary Mullarkey of the Colorado Supreme Court.

Matthew has a Juris Doctor from the University of Denver Sturm College of Law and a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy, magna cum laude, from the University of Colorado at Boulder.

Matthew grew up ski racing in Colorado and California mountain towns and today enjoys skiing, hiking, and travel trailering with his wife and two children.
