Cancellation / Transfer Policy

Symposium, Cyber Classified, Space Classified, and Tech Track cancellations received in writing by February 28, 2020 will receive a 50% refund. Refunds will not be issued after February 28, 2020. No exceptions.

Registration transfers will be processed through March 20, 2020. Transfers will not be processed after March 20, 2020. Symposium, Cyber Classified, and Space Classified registration transfers will be processed for a fee of $200. Tech Track registration transfers will be processed for a fee of $50.

Please note: in the event of a cancellation, the refund of any deposits forwarded to hotels or other related business will be at the discretion of the supplier.

New Generation Space Leaders Program Guidelines

For young space professionals age 35 and under, the Space Foundation will help participants gain visibility and exposure to senior leaders while getting advice and insight on career development (no extra cost, but Symposium registration is required). *ONLY space professionals age 35 and younger who have registered for the Symposium may attend New Generation Space Leaders Program events.

Tech Track

Tech Track provides the opportunity for candidates from all backgrounds to present twenty-minute Tech Talks at the 36th Space Symposium Technical Track, to be held Monday, March 30, 2020 at The Broadmoor Hotel in Colorado Springs, Colorado, USA. Topics cover technical ideas surrounding space launch, spacecraft technologies, architectures, processes, strategies, and updates. This event is not included as part of your 36th Space Symposium registration and must be purchased separately. Lunch is included.

Cyber Classified

Seating at Cyber Classified on Monday, March 30 is extremely limited. Early registration is advised. This event is not included as part of your 36th Space Symposium registration. Open to approved government and industry participants with U.S. citizenship or invited FVEY partners. TS//SI/TK//REL FVEY security clearance is required.

Continental breakfast and lunch are included.

Clearance Verification Disclaimer: In order to attend Cyber Classified, your TS//SI/TK//REL FVEY clearance must be received and verified no later than March 20, 2020. If you have registered and this condition is not met, you will be responsible for a $50 additional service charge. No exceptions.

Space Classified

Space Classified, scheduled for Wednesday, April 1, 2020 is a separate forum for approved government and industry participants with U.S. citizenship or invited FVEY partners. TS//SI/TK//REL FVEY security clearance is required. This event is not included as part of your 36th Space Symposium registration and is available only to Space Foundation Corporate Members and invited military/government personnel.

Due to the venue’s limited capacity, and the popularity of this event, demand far exceeds supply (specifically, the number of seats available).

Continental breakfast and lunch are included.

Clearance Verification Disclaimer: In order to attend Space Classified, your TS//SI/TK//REL FVEY clearance must be received and verified no later than March 20, 2020. If you have registered and this condition is not met, you will be responsible for a $50 additional service charge. No exceptions.

Space Law Workshop

The International Institute of Space Law (IISL) is again coordinating special activities in conjunction with the Space Symposium. On Monday afternoon, March 30, they will conduct a pre-Symposium Space Law Workshop.

For a separate registration fee, the workshop is open to symposium attendees and the general public. Continuing legal education will be available. The agenda includes panels addressing key space legal issues and will again feature a General Counsel Session of global agency and industry general counsels.

This registration type does not grant access to the Space Symposium general speaking sessions, exhibit center or receptions. In order to participate in these events, you must also purchase the Space Symposium. Students qualify for $75 off registration—enter discount code 36STUDENT at checkout. Student ID must be presented at check-in.

Exhibit Center Passes

Only paid Symposium registrants, exhibitors or registered visitors are allowed in the Lockheed Martin Exhibit Centers North and South. We do not offer an exhibits-only pass. All visitor passes are reserved and designated by exhibiting companies. The Space Foundation does not have the authority to issue visitor passes.

Privacy Policy

The Space Foundation publishes a standard list of conference attendees. Attendee contact information is shared for the sole purpose of invitations to conference related social events and business meetings. Information will not be sold or shared beyond the scope of the conference. If you would like to be omitted from this list, you can state your preference during the registration process.  Otherwise, you can contact [email protected] for assistance in removing you from the list. Liability

In the event of industrial disruptions or natural disasters, the Space Foundation cannot accept responsibility for any financial or other losses incurred by the attendee. The Space Foundation takes no responsibility for injury or damage to persons or property occurring during the Space Symposium. All insurance, including medical cover, or expenses incurred in the event of the cancellation of the Space Symposium is the individual attendee’s responsibility. Attendees are encouraged to choose a travel insurance policy that includes loss of fees/deposits through cancellation of your participation in the Space Symposium, or through the cancellation of the Space Symposium itself, loss of airfares for any reason, medical expenses, loss or damage to personal property, additional expenses and repatriation should travel arrangements have to be altered. The Space Foundation will take no responsibility for any participant failing to take out insurance.

Conference Photography

By attending the Symposium you have registered for, you grant the Space Foundation, host group or association, the right to use your image and likeness for marketing and promotional purposes, unless you specifically request removal of the photo or video in writing by emailing your details, the photos details and the conference name to [email protected] detailing your request.
