Laura Maginnis leads the New Glenn Mission Management Office at Blue Origin. Her team is responsible for overseeing the successful integration and implementation of all customer launch contracts, related services, and requirements on New Glenn launch system. Prior to joining Blue, Laura was the vice president of Government Satellite Launch at United Launch Alliance (ULA), where she led a team responsible for mission integration, program management and launch services for ULA’s government customers including the National Reconnaissance Office, Air Force and NASA Launch Services Program. While at ULA, Laura led the customer program office and Mission Management value stream, where she was responsible for the successful execution of the mission integration process from contract through launch for all commercial and government programs. She also held roles as a mission manager and manager in trajectory analysis. Before joining ULA, Maginnis was a flight operations engineer for The Boeing Company at Cape Canaveral Air Force Station, Florida, responsible for coordination and integration of world-wide tracking and telemetry collection networks for Delta launch vehicles.

Maginnis began her career serving in the U.S. Air Force as a launch operations engineer on the Delta II and Delta IV programs and was responsible for oversight and execution of launch site mission assurance processes. She subsequently served in various space operations positions in the U.S. Air Force Reserve at Cape Canaveral Air Force Station; Osan Air Base, Republic of Korea; and Schriever Air Force Base, Colorado.

Laura graduated from Cornell University with a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering, concentration in Aerospace Engineering, and an M.S. in Space Systems from the Florida Institute of Technology.
